Choose a package and a delivery day. We bring clean totes and a dolly right to your door.
You pack
Fill the totes, snap the lids shut, and slip a label into each tote's pouch. They stack solid in the truck, so you can move on your own schedule.
We pick up
Once you've unpacked, we collect the empty totes from your new place. Need more time? Add a week.

How big are the totes, and how much can they hold?
Each tote holds 27 gallons and measures about 28.6 × 19.6 × 15.2 inches, about the size of a large moving box. Each one can hold up to 75 pounds, but packing lighter makes them easier to lift. They have built-in handles and snap-shut lids.
How many totes do I need?
As a rough guide: 10 for a dorm room (our Student pack, for college students), 20 for a studio or 1-bedroom, 40 for a 2-bedroom, 60 for a 3-bedroom, and 80 for a larger home. Not sure? Tell us about your move in the request form and we'll help you choose.
How long can I keep them?
Every package includes one week. Need longer? Add extra weeks when you book at the add-a-week price listed on your package.
What if I need more time in the middle of my move?
Just ask, ideally a day before your pickup. We'll always do our best to give you more time. Extra time is billed at your package's add-a-week price.
Do you offer a military or first responder discount?
Yes! We're a veteran family, and we take 10% off your entire rental (including extra weeks) for veterans, active duty, Guard and Reserve, military spouses, police, fire, and EMS. Check the box when you book, and have a valid ID ready to show at drop-off.
How do I pay?
Send a request with your dates. Once we confirm we have totes available, we'll email you a secure Square invoice to pay by card. Pay within 48 hours of receiving it to hold your date.
Are the totes clean?
Yes. Every tote is washed and checked after each rental before it goes to the next customer.
How far ahead should I book?
About a week ahead is ideal, and earlier during the busy summer moving season. In a rush? Contact us at team@HomeToteRentals.com and we'll do our best to make it work.
What if a tote or dolly gets lost or broken?
We count every tote at pickup. Normal scuffs and scratches are fine. If a tote is missing or damaged (cracked, broken handle, or won't close), the replacement fee is $15 per tote. A missing or broken dolly is $75. We'll always talk with you first.
Should I still wrap fragile things?
Yes. The totes protect against crushing and weather, but they don't cushion what's inside. Wrap dishes, glass, and electronics before packing.
